DELIVERY DIAGNOSTICS

Verification email missing? Find where delivery stopped

Delays can happen at every step, from copying the address to the sender queue and the temporary inbox. Check in order—it’s faster than repeatedly clicking resend.

Four-step diagnosis

Rule out the most common, reversible issues first

Check the full address

Copy the current address again and compare it character by character with the registration page. Remove any spaces before or after it, and make sure you haven’t used an old address that was replaced or expired.

Confirm the site sent it

Check whether the sender page shows success, a cooldown, or an unsupported domain. A successful form submission does not necessarily mean the email has entered the delivery queue.

Wait two minutes, then refresh

The email service may be processing the message in a queue. Keep this page open, wait for automatic polling, and refresh manually only once.

Choose the next step based on the result

If temporary domains are clearly blocked, use a forwarding alias. If the address seems inactive, switch to another one—but avoid having multiple verification codes overwrite each other.

Match the symptom

Take the corresponding action

Usually, only the most recently sent verification code works. Note the exact message on the sender page before deciding whether to resend.

The page says “Sent,” but the inbox is emptyWait 1–2 minutes and refresh once. If it is still empty, check the address again.
The page says the address is not supportedThe site is actively blocking temporary domains. Use a forwarding alias or a long-term email address instead.
You received multiple verification codesStart with the most recent message. Older codes are usually no longer valid.
The email arrived, but the link is invalidReturn to the original site and request another email. Keep the same browser session and open it promptly.
What not to do

Repeated resends create more uncertainty

Rapid clicking may trigger sender-side rate limits and can invalidate an earlier verification code. After changing addresses, the old inbox will no longer appear in the current workspace.

Don’t keep creating addresses to bypass an explicit service restriction. Accounts you need to access long term should use an address that can continue receiving recovery emails.

01Keep the current address and wait through one delivery window first.
02Record the page message; don’t confuse “submission successful” with “delivery successful.”
03Change only one variable at a time so you can identify the source of the problem.

Diagnostic Q&A

Confirm these details if the issue persists

How long should I usually wait?

Most verification emails arrive within a few seconds to two minutes. After two minutes, refresh and check the address, then look for any rate-limit notice on the sender page.

Will old emails arrive after I change the address?

No. Changing the address retires the old inbox, so first make sure the registration form has been updated with the new address.

Why is my verification code always invalid?

Common causes include using a code from an older email or an expired verification-page session. Request another email and use the latest code.

Can I contact support for help troubleshooting?

Yes. Email support@masksend.com with the approximate time and what happened. Please do not send verification codes, passwords, or sensitive message content.

Back to the inbox—change one variable at a time

Check first, wait next, and change the address only as a last resort.
